I watched Breaking Bad several years ago, and El Camino just last year. I have not seen any of Better Call Saul.

I've really been craving a rewatch of Breaking Bad. My wife has never seen any of it - Saul or BB. Should we just start with Better Call Saul?

if this is the wife's first time i would watch BB first, i think you get a better appreciation of BCS with the knowledge of what happens in BB. my 0.02

Woah......really?

That's awesome, because BB was not lacking in either.

again, JMO but I binge watched BB and then BCS back to back when I was laid up for awhile and I felt like the characters and dialog to be more fleshed out in BCS. Having said that, if I could re-watch only one it would be BB by a mile.

Definitely watch BB first. Then El Camino. Then BCS. Even though BCS is a prequel, it is clearly intended to be watched after BB.

No doubt. It makes the appearance and introduction of BB characters into the BCS world much more enjoyable.

Couldn't agree more if I tried. The Fly was the only episode I really didn't like. The rest was gold.

BB first then BCS, like the writers intended. You’ll get the most out of both that way.

Much of the first few seasons of BCS would be completely boring without having watched BB first to understand context - it is very slow paced until the last two seasons

This 100%

I'm jealous she gets to BB for the first time and then go straight into BCS.

BCS relies on BB callbacks, so better to watch bb first

BCS is a sequel and a prequel so you absolutely need to have watched BB first to truly appreciate it.
