The Monroe 3A district has to be in the conversation. Sterlington, Union Parish, and Richwood have all been in the Superdome in the last decade. Wossman and Carroll are always talented as well.

There is GREAT high school football all across the state


Side question:

What small, lesser known towns have great Friday night atmospheres??

I enjoy going on google earth and checking out the different venues around the state

this. the bigger schools like WM, Neville etc are good but the 3a up there is off the charts.

District 2 AAA. They added Bastrop, who hasn't been what they used to be, but we'll see what they do with AAA competition.
