No smugness but it isn't 2005 anymore and there are about a dozen 13/14 year leagues in all of Louisiana.

This was much more recently than 2005, but ok. I know plenty of others that played little league and started multiple years in HS.
I also know many guys my age that played year-round travel ball growing up. Some of them got burned out by the time they got to HS and played another sport instead.
