Nope.

The great thing about free association, you can associate with whomever you choose to associate.

Fraternities work for certain people. Political parties, civic clubs, etc are just fraternities.

We need to go underground and form more secret societies.

Update on this is that more are in the process. The ones that have gone off campus had the blessings of the national organizations and the rest are in the process of getting it. That is a huge get and may show the future for places like LSU where even fraternal organizations who follow the rules are in the targets of the woke mob.

Rather they work or not isnt the problem. The problem is the constant issues that stem from these adult daycare groups.

You haven't mentioned any specific issues.

People join freely and know what they're getting into. if you don't, that's on you.

Fraternities just need to leave campus. Schools have no power.

Unfortunately not true. They can suspend or expel anyone for any reason.
They put organizations on probation without any fair and equal due process.

Notice they don’t hold the sports organizations responsible as a whole. When is the last time a university suspended a football or basketball team for a year or two for the misconduct of it’s members. I can think of Dozens of issues with hazing, rapes, deaths involving teams where there were zero accountability or like treatments to those university organizations.

Fatal incidents from hazing, sexual assaults and rape, violence, hotbeds for underage drinking & illegal drug abuse, and just the overall promotion of a barbaric juvenile culture in general. All of this frequently occurred in my fraternity house and cops would ignore everything as long as we had alcohol in red solo cups.

Every single person that I’ve met who actively seemed to have an issue with the Greek system was an angry little dorky looking social reject who didn’t have the social skills to interact with people who were different than them, and generally were jealous over the fact that Greek guys got with much more attractive girls much more consistently than non-Greek guys. Everybody wants to get laid in college and the Greek system is the king of walking into a party and leaving 2 hours later with a girl that’s out of your league. Sorry that you missed out

EXACTLY the type of response I’d expect from a douchey frat guy.

Did you smash an empty beer can on your forehead after you typed this?

The universities created this situation by going overboard. The chapters with money will just move off campus and still do what they want to do which will also lead to more problems. All of Greeks in this thread know that the universities are worried about the loss of donations from alumni if this works for the chapters

Frats are still the gayest shite I've ever seen. Some guys on here would still be virgins if it wasn't for being a frat boy

Pathetic

I was in a sorority and loved every minute of it. To say that fraternity guys are more likely to drink, do drugs, or commit sexual assaults over non-Greek people is just dumb. LSU was wild everywhere you went in the 90's. Most students were out to pass a good time on the weekends (or allll week, lol), Greek or not.
