There is a video on LSU Gold about Wes Johnson and Jamie Tutko using technology to help develop pitchers. I wasn’t planning on signing up for it but it looks like I’ll have to now.

Louque received an offer after his visit this weekend.

I would have expected him to commit when offered.

Me too. After I saw the snippet I guess I will have to bite the bullet.

He's 15 years old. I applaud him for his maturity in wanting to make the right decision for him and his family. LSU in great shape.

If they put out some decent content during baseball season I would consider signing up for sure.

100% agree. No reason for a kid who hasn’t even played an inning of his soph baseball season to commit to a college.

I signed up for it. It was a cool little blurb but it wasn’t super in depth or anything. It’s not worth the subscription on its on but there’s some really cool content on there that does make it worth it imo

I'd advise all young kids to take the ride, even if they're dead set on LSU. Take all of the visits, get wined and dined, keep working. I know some can and will still do so after committing anyway, but still. If you want to shut it down before your senior season to really focus on what the staff envisions and to chase a state title, do that.

Brown was untouchable in his start, earning the win after striking out seven in four hitless innings. The only batter to reach against Brown was on a fielding error in the fourth

as has been the case....Brown continues to get better and better each outing.

I hope his VELO doesn't go up until he gets to LSU!

Anyone able to post the fall scrimmages dates? I can’t find them

Nothing official except that LSU starts practice/scrimmages on Oct. 7th.

Jay did say on Hold the Rope podcast that it will be similar to last year. They typically do skills practice during the week and then scrimmage Fri-Sun., which are typically open to the public to watch. LSU Baseball twitter generally puts out the schedule of days and times for scrimmages at the beginning of each week.

Of course there will be the 2 exhibition games on Nov. 6th and 13th.

Bradyn Garner from west Monroe just committed. 2026 arm. One of many legit prospects on that WM team. I’ll add him to the list tomorrow.

Not surprising, LSU has the 2022 #1 recruiting class according to Baseball America.
