How many of you truly love your jobs

We've all heard the saying, "if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." I'm wondering if this saying is complete bs. Does anybody truly truly love their work?
I don't mean slightly enjoy, or that you don't completely hate it and you're pretty content in life. I mean it in this sense.
If you won the Lottery for 1 billion dollars, how many people wouldn't quit your job, but instead continue to go to work, basically for free.

I truly enjoy my job, but if I won $1B then I'm out of here so fast they'll see only a spinning chair and a dust cloud.

Whoever says they'd stay is a goddamn liar

I'd work part time somewhere fun at the tropical destination that I'd move to.

Complete BS. Once you start getting paid to do anything, even if you love it, you’re no longer doing it for yourself and it will most certainly feel like work. Maybe not everyday but it for sure will.

There are many parts of my job that I would gravitate to as a hobby. There are many parts I absolutely hate (the administrative part).

I do. I get to work from home, and honestly I don't really put in a lot of time. And when I do work, I'm watching TV or listening to a podcast, likely sipping something I wouldn't be able to sip on at work unless I was hiding it in a water bottle. And looks like working from home is a permanent thing.

I think I'm the opposite of a lot of people who like their career/profession but dislike their employer/circumstances/specific job
I'm apathetic about my profession, but I like my job quite a bit

I’d get the frick out of dodge and not do shite for as long as possible. Prolly just see the world and what not. Then once I got bored, I’d start some sort of business to occupy my time. I wouldn't be working for anyone ever again, frick that.

I wouldn't do it for free
But I genuinely enjoy what I do

I'd probably work part time. I do enjoy my job and for the most part, the people I work with.
I get to meet a lot of cool people from all over the world. Some shitty ones too.

I like my profession. I'd still stay current on it and do some work if I didn't need money. But I don't love my job, I'd rather play golf

As close to it as I have ever been, current job is best one I have ever had (interesting, important, purpose clear, matches my interests and skills, feel like making a difference if done well).
But not "truly love" like I think is your intent of question
My bigger purpose is to provide for kids to enable them to find "truly love" futures, or so I have reconciled this BS career model fed to us.

I enjoy my job and sometimes I honestly do love what I do but I would be gone for $1B. I would stay about 2-3 months while I iron out how to manage the funds and get things setup.....Then I'm living on dividends + $20M of cash play money.

So, which branch of the federal government do you work for?

I mean I wouldn't work for free, but I also love my job and employer. There's no way I'd just give everyone the finger and just drag up like that without notice. I'd stay on until they find a replacement, and even help train up said replacement. Don't care if I do have millions waiting for me to spend on hookers and blow, these are too good of people to do that to. I'd even give a little going away present to all my coworkers. No, not a bag of dicks, a nice little good working with you check. It's hard to find a good job working for a good company, so you have to be grateful to the ones that have helped you along the way.

my job has ebbs and flows.
when i'm doing what i was hired for, i absolutely freaking love it. i get a genuine high off of my main job duties.
when we're slow and my boss has to make work up or have meetings for the sake of meetings because he's feeling bored, i get irritated. because i'm "technical" i get handed a lot of the in house IT stuff and database stuff with salesforce. i'm compensated for it, but i don't love it.
if i became a billionaire, i'd buy my boss out. let him stay on and hire somebody to do the tedious stuff i don't like.

It's hit or miss. When I'm actively involved in flightline activities then I love it. When I'm doing admin work, I fricking hate it.
I love leading people regardless.
