Aside from a handful of players, do we really "have the talent" right now?
Going to be successful having a 7 - 5 season and a bowl win. 8 or more wins should be looked at as exceeding expectations this season.

We have more talent this year than we did last year. And last year's team had new coaches, a hurricane strike the week before the game screwing up game prep, and the game was an away game.

Last year's loss to UCLA was used as a reason to fire the coach. If Kelly loses a home game to FSU it will be a disaster.

By “handful of players” do you mean one of the best d line rooms in the country? One of the best wr rooms in the country? All our starting dbs are seniors with tons of experience in big time conferences (SEC, Big 12, B1G). The “?” Are the o line and qb play but this roster is extremely talented.
