Had that surgery last year. Went to Keith Rhynes at Surgeons Group off Hennessey in BR.

I never had pain in the cyst but had it for awhile. Got tired of dealing with it so I had it removed. I did not require any pain meds afterwards and had zero issues. The only thing that was annoying was that I had to keep going back to the office to check on if it was hollowing within the cyst. Had to keep packing gauze in the wound until it closed up fully.

Dr. didn't believe me when I walked in and said I had a pilondidal cyst as I was 34. Showed my arse and he was really surprised it was. Said it really only happens to young people.

Same. He was actually able to stitch mine up though. Didn't really have any issues or pain after surgery. Was glad I had it removed because it would get pretty infected. I once pulled a whole wad of hair out of it
