I'm a big Rand Paul fan. Would be curious if they could work together? That would be a hell of a tandem

Desantis would be more popular.

Absolutely not. Rand is a panderer sometimes but he has principles geared towards restrained government and hates unfettered spending.

Donald Trump has no political principles, and thinks fiscal responsibility at the nation-state level is nonsensical.

So no, they could not get along.

I like Paul too, but I think Trump has to talk with Desantis first and ask him what he wants

0% chance. It would be the dumbest political move in history for DeSantis.

Plus, as things currently stand, they cannot constitutionally run on the same ticket.

It would better if he stepped aside and let Paul carry the mantle.

He'll probably do something stupid like Nikki Haley or Kristi Noem

Did you buy a NSA spy blocker?

I am sick and tired of the Trump spam email which it seems cannot be unsubscribed or blocked with constant new email addresses. I will only vote for him if he is the GOP nominee because voting for other candidate in the general election is either just a protest or continuing what is going on now

His only safe play is someone who isn’t on the table. The answer isn’t there yet.

Perhaps so, I’m just explaining why Rand and Trump would not be a good fit.

No. Trump doesn't like actual Conservatives.

He picked Pence, last time.

Katie Britt may be on his list, though. He's high on her.

If he wins, he'll appoint more Barrs, Boltons, and Wrays and you all will praise him for "draining the Swamp."

Rand is a boss. In a perfect world I would struggle between the two for president. We need a bully right now in both spots. Rand ain’t that. He’s just sassy, but right about everything.
