Dad was usually off working so me and my sisters didn’t get it too often from him. Now my mom on the other hand knew how to swing that belt. She wasn’t a believer of “just wait till your dad gets home”. Lol. She handled her business right there.

Mom usually took care of the spanking until myself and my twin bro were bigger than her. She knew when a little smirk would happen when she was giving us a spanking. Things after that were handled by Dad so when dad got home from work we knew the arse whooping was about to commence. We could hear mom in the living room giving Dad the details about the situation then he would walk to the spare bedroom and call us in one at a time. As I waited for my arse beat down I could hear the carnage in the bedroom when the sound stopped my twin brother walked out with eyes puffy red and tears flowing then my name was called an pain ensued for about 10-20 sec. Let’s just say that belt hitting arse cheeks didn’t feel good.

As others have mentioned we deserved everything we got except for a belt on the upper leg or lower back from flopping like a fish during the arse whoopin.

Oh, our mom would have no problem bringing down punishment and then she would tell us just wait until your dad gets home - then it was a 50/50 chance he would rain down punishment as well. Again, lessons learned.
