So what. The players I back then said Bert use to bet freshmen players six packs he could throw from one end zone to the other. Then he would proceed to throw from one goal post threw the other side goal post. That is over 120 yards.

Yes but in most every instance where the entire year and possible National Championship is on the line, he choked. Oh he won his fair share, not the ones that truly mattered.

I'm staying out of this one. I always get ripped for my opinion on Russ. But throwing hard isn't the only thing that makes you great.
