Man...how incredibly emotionally attached are you to Brennan, while at the same time totally detached from reality? Unbelievable.
Imagine writing everything you’ve said about Nuss in this thread, then calling someone else emotionally attached.
I’m not emotionally attached at all. I was just pointing out that your experience statement was factually incorrect, and that it was odd for you to frame Brennan’s biggest strength (his arm talent) as a weakness.

I'm not emotionally attached to Nuss. I watched him play last year in the Arkansas game and I watched him play in the spring game, and it is more than a little obvious that Nuss is far more talented relative to Myles. In fact, it's not even close.
Now, I agree, Myles has a strong arm, but Nuss has an elite arm. As Nuss completed some NFL level passes in the spring game that Myles can only dream of throwing in his wildest wet dreams. In fact, the ESPN announcers for the spring game were so enamored with Nussmeier's play and elite arm talent relative to Myles and Jayden, that they even said Nuss has the "it factor".
Plus, the only touchdown pass Myles threw in that spring game was badly under thrown and under normal circumstances it would have been intercepted or at the very least knocked down to the ground, as opposed to luckily being knocked into the hands of Malik Nabers. In other words, that lucky touchdown pass doesn't even count.
Furthermore, Nuss scored on all four of his four possessions and Myles scored on only one of his five possessions when you take away that one touchdown that really should not count.
Yet, you want Myles to start anyway because, well, you are so emotionally attached to him that you don't care that Nuss is astronomically far more talented than he is.

I never said that.

There it is again.
No matter how many times you copy and paste the same shite, it doesn’t make it true.

He was decent but by no means top tier. LSU has probably four QBs on their roster this year who outshine Max Johnson in talent.

So according to you, Brian Kelly is going to name Brennan the starter just to piss his best lethal weapon in the wide receiver room off to teach him who is the boss, as opposed to playing the best QB on the team.
How the frick does anyone come to that conclusion based on what I said? You're a special kind of nut. BK would no sooner pick a certain quarterback just to piss off one player on his team as he would to make one player happy. Do you really think that's actually how these things work?

8T4 has no idea what to do with a "Max Johnson"... Heifers beware!

I actually read your entire WOT. Most of it is a reasonable opinion to consider. You ruined it with your last sentence. If you think Brian Kelly is going to let one player on the team choose his quarterback for him, well......
You need to let this one go. Armchair signed up on this site specifically to say that Boutte wanted Nuss to start, and that BK won't piss off his best player by starting anyone other than Nuss.
He is mental.

What? You misspelled Nuss. It wasn't close. Nuss was more productive and the play where Jennings missed and easy pass for a big gain would have set him up for another TD
That is incorrect. The offense when Daniels was leading it scored the most points of any of the QBs. You don’t have to like Daniels but that’s just a fact.

but Nuss has an elite arm.
Who's elite arm is Nuss comparable to?

I’ll give you idiots a hint. Do you really think people would be giving Myles a free F-150 and paying him to dance on top of a bar if he wasn’t our starter??
Posted on 7/2/22 at 8:36 am to TigerProphet
I agree with you and said the same. People fail to recognize how bad that OL, running game though much of the season, and lack of WR corps after Boutte went down was. He was solid.

I watch a lot of LSU content from many college football/college sports channels on youtube and there is one guy that pops up on the dozen plus channels, blowing Nuss. His insanity on this forum sounds just like the bullshite he spews on youtube.

Really, it's silly. You're silly, go re-watch that long touchdown pass Nuss threw in the Arkansas game last season while under immense pressure to the back of the end zone to Jack Bech. Nuss and maybe Patrick Mahomes are the only QBs that could have completed that pass.
Not to mention, that pass Jaray Jenkins dropped in the spring game was elite. That back shoulder pass Nuss threw to the end zone that Chris Hilton caught out of bounds was Hilton's fault and not Nuss' fault. Nonetheless, that pass was elite. That pass Nuss completed to Josh Williams on that wheel route was elite. That long pass Nuss completed to Malik Nabers right before Nuss threw that touchdown pass to Jack Bech at the back of the end zone where Bech is the only one who could have gotten to that ball were both also elite.
All of those passes were NFL level and all of those passes were elite. Not only that, but Myles and Jayden can only dream of throwing passes like those in their wildest wet dreams.
Indeed, why didn't Myles and Jayden complete passes like those in the spring game? They were holding back or was it they didn't want to show off?

Sorry, but if you put Max in a room with 10 QB's who are likely to start at a major college program, he would not be the one you would pick to win a natty. Good QB. Will win some games. Not a championship QB. He's backing up Hayne's King and then has Weigman on his heels next year. Barring injury, he gets some snaps in, maybe starts a game here or there but never fully takes the helm at A&M. But the QB room is not as crowded there as it is here. He has a better shot (just one injury away) from having an opportunity there. If there's an injury at LSU, he still has some traffic at the backup position. At the end of the day he's an above average QB and can start at D1 level. Not a difference maker.

ZERO pocket presence
LONG looping delivery
MEDIOCRE arm strength

No, he was actually worse than his stats indicate. We beat Bama if he doesn’t throw that ridiculous interception before halftime.

had super chemistry with Boutte. I think he would’ve been our starter this year
The first part is debatable(Boutte is special everybody APEARS to have chemistry with him) and the second part is doubtful. Isn't it his father that was making demands of the program? Bad look...of course Jimbo is a cuck
