Watch last season's game against A&M again. Blocking sucked but Johnson didn't help anything a single bit. Granted, he did enough to win the game but good riddance.

I thought he had potential, but I think he lost the team and didn’t like the culture O had created.

It’s really hard to see a starting QB quit before the Bowl Game.

I can't remember how vitriol the hate here was for him so maybe, but he tended to make mediocre decisions, isn't anywhere near as fast as he thought he was, and doesn't have a stronger arm than I do. He also cracked pretty early on in the year and just lost his pocket presence completely. There were a few routes he really knew how to read and throw well, I want to say it was the ~12 yard posts that were consistently on the money ball placement and timing wise, but all in all he was an exceedingly mediocre QB. There's a reason why he's not expected to start at A&M despite them having major QB issues.
