When I don't have luck surf fishing, which is just about every time , I usually have luck at the Perdido Pass jetties (both sides). The west side jetty is continuous all the way out. It's a pain in the arse to walk out on the rocks, and it's difficult to manage/land fish. However, you will catch fish everytime. Spoons, plugs, and stick baits on inshore rod and reel are popular.

Another spot nearby is under the bridge on the west side. It's a popular sheepshead spot.

Something that's fun and a beer drinking event, is fishing for sharks. A local one time showed me that cut ladyfish is popular with sharks there. I helped him land an 8' shark that took over an hour to land. It does take some specialty tackle including dehooker and backup bolt cutter. I've slowly added enough tackle that I bring it and try it. I've hooked one, but I couldnt land it (pulled the hook out).
