Finding Frances might be one of the most brilliant shows I’ve ever seen.
Finding Frances was a fitting end to the show. Hard to top. So much good shite in that episode:
Mud 2: Never Clean
Age progressionist Cornelius Ladd
57th year high school reunion
Maci the very self-aware escort
Bill completely nailing the 2016 Presidential Election
The call to Frances that was bittersweet but kind of perfect
I don't care how much of its staged or acted, Nathan Fielder just delivers compelling, funny television.
Have enjoyed the first two episodes of The Rehearsal just as much. Moving the entire bar set to Oregon was so hilarious to me for some reason. I would love to see what sort of ridiculous budget he is working with now. Cannot wait to see Nathan play dad to the crazy woman playing mom.

Saw this interesting theory on the Nathan for You subreddit (which has basically become a Rehearsal subreddit)
quote:This would make perfect sense.
The Rehearsal is about to take a huge turn, right? Feels like this will become a narrative show about Nathan exploring the themes he discussed at the end of E2. It’ll be his rehearsal, and E1 was a big misdirection. The fact that he’s involving himself, blurring the line between reality and fiction. Plus, transporting the bar indicates some continuity that an episodic show wouldn’t have. Not to mention the last episode is called “Pretend Daddy” and hasn’t been seen by any reviewers.
