I think I'm ok with Griff not wanting to draft Sharpe at all. He doesn't seem like he fits the culture and at best doesn't develop optimally and at worst becomes a locker room problem because of the poor culture fit.

A lot of these guys want to be "the guy".
Going to certain teams allow them #1 or #2 option.
Sacramento and New Orleans have lead options. I can see why they don't want to land there

To be fair, a lot of these guys have over the top false bravado going into the draft. When asked at the combine who's the best player in the NBA Chet answered "myself in two months".
