quote:We quit trying.
Every fall when we start trying to plan we have a big group… then by the time to make decisions it’s me, my wife, and another couple.
We just usually plan to go by ourselves, now. Most of our friends know that we're going every year.
So, if they decide to go, they just tell us where and we join them.
When we say we are in, we are in.

We quit trying as well but do it a little different. We plan where we are going early and announce it to friends. We get our our condo. They are all welcome to come, but no pressure. If they decide to come its up to them to find accommodations. None of this sharing a huge house with 2 or 3 families. If it works out we meet up for lunch. We might do one big diner together. Everyone knows where Apres Ski is. Make what you want to make, skip it if you are not up to it. No pressure, no commitments.
We have had as many as seven different families and once it was just us(usually it is somewhere in between). I have fun either way.
