Where are the souls who haven’t been reincarnated? Where are the ghosts?

There is an estimate that about 108 billion people have lived and died.
Right now there are around 7 billion people on Earth.
If reincarnation is real, what are the other souls doing?
If ghosts are real, shouldn’t they be all around us?

If reincarnation souls would reincarnated multiple times, so they would’ve reincarnated died and reincarnated again. So they would not have to be a human for everyone reinserted soul and that’s only if reincarnation goes passes down to human and not from from humans to other living beings

I mean if reincarnation means coming back as a living thing they could techinally be reincarnated as a bacteria how fricking miserable would that be

Probably not that bad considering you don’t have any conscious thought process and wouldn’t remember what it was like to be a human anyway.

Well possibly more souls are created or due to human population non-human animal population has been decreasing due to an increase in human and development allowing souls that would have reincarnated as something other than human to reincarnate as human

Maybe we are nothing but bacteria to another creature were not aware of. Like bacteria aren't aware of us. Maybe we all live in this creature's colon and he is our God.

Be thankful the human race is allowed to participate in the soul mechanism. The aliens are jealous and anal probe to figure out what they have to do to be included.

Plenty of sentient beings are not allowed the luxury of continual improvement of oneself. We are.
While it may take 300-600 re-embodiments, you will progress until you can step off the wheel. Most of that time is spent with the same Family / Friend group. And you get to pick your parents and circumstances to learn the next time. As you see fit. It just takes a while.
