I can help - solo, couple or family?

Sorry to hijack, but I didn't want to clutter with a similar question. I'm going through next Wednesday and plan to get to Eureka around lunch and will stay the night.

Any suggestions on where to stay and things to do with a family of 4, kids are both under 5. Thanks!

Haven't been to Eureka since I had kids, but definitely go to Turpentine Creek animal rescue. B&Bs are dominant in Eureka, but only some are kid friendly. Crescent Hotel might have some kid activities.

Sorry I'm not more help on that one.
