We got lucky and built last summer with a guy just getting into the business but was a concrete salesman and he snagged the gunite guy exclusively who was previously doing gunite for other companies. Prices were fair and he could start sooner than anyone else. Our pool is 24 x 17 with a hot tub and basically decked most of the surrounding area as our yard is small. Cost us $61K. If we did it now, it would probably be closer to 75-80. We’re in Lafayette so not sure how comparable prices would be in BR. Maintenance has been pretty straightforward and not too costly. Startup chemicals are expensive but once you’re water is settled, it’s not bad if you stay on top of it.
