I’d put the odds at 70 % thug 30 % bullied kid as shooter
Since you didnt hear this from every radio/news/internet source, get notification on your phone, no mention of race, didnt hear what Obama and Joe Biden think about it, and have a crowd of BLM protesters clogging up the campus, you can put the odds at 100% thug.

There seems to be a shooting every other day around here. It's always the same type involved as well. It's becoming a large problem.
It seems to be everywhere now, even in small towns throughout Mississippi. Its sad that these shooting are so common, they've been pushed to third page news. Where are the leaders in the black community leading the youth away from that culture? Who will step up and become the voice of reason? It seems that it became worse in the Obama administration, yet he's more respected than MLK

They are out there. The pull in the other direction is strong and ingrained.

Ya, I'm guessing the guy on the grounds old lady cheated on him and he was shooting at whoever the dude was.
Just my hunch.
And I also bet that the dude wasn't one of the ones that got shot.

THIS is the part I don't get. If you think shooting someone for a minor transgression is OK then I won't argue. But what is the thought process that "I am just going to shoot wildly into that crowd over there and maybe hit the dude I don't like. I will injure and kill a bunch of unrelated folks but whatever. Despite the dozens of witnesses and cell phone cameras everywhere, I probably won't get caught."

benny's, mariner's, tommy's, cena, steak house, pour house, lee's, the crescent, etc...
beautiful old homes on walkable streets
easy access to 12 & 55
no traffic in town
rural areas 10 minutes away
LSU AG center for free planting guidance
amtrack station
tangi river access & lake maurepas/ponchartrain access minutes away
plus, i live there so the level of awesome is even more elevated

I agree with most of your list, but "no traffic in town"??? I live in Hammond and the traffic is bad and getting worse with every new 400 home DSLD subdivision. Also, the 13% are getting more out of hand by the day.

where?
i live over by the airport and never see traffic, to/from downtown etc on surface streets. if i need to go to the west side of town i take 12 to 55 to 190 or university

no doubt...
the rules of hammond are simple
1) stay out of gas stations more than 0.25mi from an interstate exit
2) stay out of walmart and all discount retailers
3) avoid the pocket south of 190 between morrison & RR

Graduations are getting rough. Now you have to keep your head on a swivel and someone to cover you six. Have to assume that everyone is carrying heat and that some folks carrying a grudge since kindergarten.
May have to issue bullet proof vests.
