American politics... is it all really just a big scam?

Thinking about our Democrat/Republican paradigm we have in this country. Alot of people talk about the "uniparty", and I usually scoff at this as a conspiracy theory, and the real issue is Republicans are just wimps.

But now wondering, maybe it is like this. Democrats get in power, Democrats act completely crazy and get drunk on their power. They threaten with some real extreme legislation like court packing, federal election take overseas, gun grabbing, build back better, DOJ spying on school board parents, Jan 06 committee, etc. Biden acts like a fool, economy tanks, inflation, all the above.

Biden's poll numbers tank, and this sets up the inevitable "red wave" in the mid terms. Republicans don't even need to offer anything other than " hey, we aren't those guys". They just have to act someone normal, no tranny madness, or after birth abortions, no disinformation boards, don't hire dog fetish dudes as your energy director, etc. Just sort of act normal. So everyone freaks out and goes running for "back to normalcy" and votes in a mid term red wave.

Yet all these Republicans, are still going to line up fund this government that is doing all of these things we just talked about. They will still allow for the printing of trillions and trillions of dollars that don't exist. They will still send and launder billions and billions to Ukraine, and do the bidding of big pharma.

Ultimately our true overlords win either way. They will give us the illusion that we can vote our way out of this mess. Republicans will give us the illusion they are going to be a bulwark on the radicals and progressives, and then screw us when we need them the most.
