That's why Baker is still on the roster.

I mean will he play though? Hasn't he threatened to just simply sit out until a trade gets done?

Maybe Drew Brees wants to test out that shoulder in Cleveland?

If he was a Saint, Goodell would have already suspended him for the 2022 year.

After seeing what Jarvis signed for, predict the contract offer that Loomis presented to Watson.

I'm thinking 7 yr/140

Not saying he’s innocent or will get out of this unscathed; but also not going to read too much into anything that was intentionally selected to be provided to the media by the plaintiff’s attorneys following a deposition.

Also think it’s a little sketchy for the plaintiff attorney to leak part of a deposition considering that you open arguments up for a legally tampered jury pool before trial. Of course plaintiff is hoping for the quick settlement

The NFL will cave to societal pressure like they did with Ray Rice after the video was published and they reversed their lenient punishment. I think the guy gets hammered with a year or more, not a few games. A great miss by the Saints.

Yea, I wanted Watson at the time.

Glad the Browns overpaid for him now.

Honestly even if we signed him I don’t think he should ever play another down

There’s nothing new in there it’s just raising the possibility of a bunch of trails is with no settlements, which would massively expensive for him and probably mean less for the defendants

Don’t think that’s going to happen.

He’s been out of the game for a while. That’s going to serve as basically as time served.

They tried to trade him during the draft.

The panthers and browns just couldn't agree on who would pay the majority of the contract.

I doubt mayfield will ever play for the browns again.

I think he should play in 22 and then the league should suspend him and then he loses money.

Just say we are going to wait until all or a majority of the rulings come in.

And half this board would only have one nut and still no QB.

I’ll take him over crab legs all day every day. Even with a year out if that happened.

Ehhh... Look at Green Bay. It's Aaron Rodgers and a bunch of place holders. QB is the most important position but if that salary kills your roster then your team isn't going to have a shot.
