If these guys are going to be receiving 2nd round draft pick money for their "talents", there's no need to be walking the same campus as the students when they're there for completely different reasons.

Why didn't this argument apply a year ago? 10 years ago? 50 years ago? 75 years ago?

Hell, possibly 100 years ago. CFB players, for the most part, were NEVER "here to play school". Why are we pretending that's changed?

Meh...I'd argue up until at least 10 - 15 years ago or so players were at the school of their choice for both school pride and opportunity.

Now it is 100% opportunity.
