If any of you had doubts about a show about making a movie, this show is great.

It's funny seeing Giovanni Ribisi play an older person. He's played the young/frickup-up type since the Wonder Years.

Having to fight the compulsion to applaud every time that Matthew Goode enters a scene.

Hilarious watching him get his wife into The Getaway, knowing what happens during the filming of that movie.

He didn’t get her in it. She did it against his wishes.

The scene at dinner was amazingly done. You could tell who was who and them playing actors playing other characters was something special. They all nailed it, especially the Pacino character.

That scene was awesome.

They were all taking their cues from the consummate Method actor, Brando.

I liked it. But then, I've liked the whole thing so far.

Seriously, in terms of production values, casting and acting, I think it may be the best limited-run series I’ve seen since “The Pacific”.

If this show doesn’t just crush the Emmys, something is wrong.

Ribisi as Joe Columbo is great watching.

But the dinner scene was remarkable as they were all in character and just rolling with it. Jimmy Caan, Brando and Pacino all become Sonny , the Don and Michael as does the Carlo character.

I thought that dinner was pretty silly and way over the top. Goode is so real as Evans, then they do stuff like this.

Anyone else think that Ferrigno is going to end up being Luca Brasi?

Well, being that Ferrigno’s character is Lenny Montana, and Lenny Montana is who played Luca Brasi in the movie, I’d say it’s a safe bet.

If he doesn't win an Emmy for this then they need to just burn the whole award-organization down.

It's genuinely one of the best biographical portrayals I've ever seen. And for it to work on someone who was so wholly as unique as Evans, too, is what makes it even more incredible.

Everything he does on screen is mesmerizing.

I don't care how much they cover in this series on his life, Matthew Goode absolutely deserves his own show or movie solely about Evans after this.

There's still so much they could cover that he did even just in the 70s after becoming an independent producer again and had hits like Mararhon Man, Urban Cowboy and Black Sunday.

Lenny Montana was Joe Columbo's bodyguard....so if Ferrigno is Montana....he's Luca Brasi
