Great Post JP. It seems the post help shed some light on the game. Just like you said before, we predicted and expected this loss. So, when it finally happened it seemed like many fans were surprised and a lot of our fellow tigers wanted some heads on the chopping blocks. Don't get me wrong, I know I don't like getting blown out in these types of games either, but again we are very young and will indeed get better as we continue the season. At least someone brought positive meaning to this situation and that we should support our tigers. I have always said that anyone can be a fan when a team is winning. It's when things start to fall apart and the team is down on their luck with their true fans standing by them determines true fans. Almost like true friends. Great post.

What you say is definitely true ... you can really learn a lot about a person by watching how they respond to adversity in any aspect of life ...
That said, Fans will be fans (it is short for fanatical, lol). It's hard sometimes, but I just have to teach myself to be able to recognize when a fan is simply being emotional and irrational as opposed to realistic and rational and simply tune out the irrational fans. We all get emotional after losses (or at least I would think we all do), so really all of us are probably a tad irrational the first 24-48 hourse after a loss.
Nonetheless, it still gets under my skin because you're bound to be exposed to those irrational fans at some point or another and they are bound to piss you off.
