I would agree with most people above. Your current salary is more than most NP's start out depending on the field. I do Occ Med. Started in the 90's and have worked myself up over the 6 figure mark rather quickly. I do take call but my call pay is extra money on top of my salary.

Agreed, completely depends on the field and if you are joining a private practice, joining a hospital system, or starting your own clinic.
Personally, I would stay away from psych if you are just doing it for the money. Dealing with psych patients all the time would be soul sucking, imo.
