I almost feel sorry for the Brennan fanboys. No doubt some of you have dedicated Brennan fan rooms in your home. You need to learn how to read the tea leaves. He is not going to be the starter because a.)he is not good enough and b.)he doesnt have the physical tools to run the offense that Denbroke was hired to bring to LSU.

The only fanboy here is you and it’s always the same behavior. No data, no objectively, pure speculation and beyond stupid evaluation opinions. The same thing happened last season at this same time, using the exact same ad hominem attacks and projection. You’re no different than the fans who still don’t know what an RPO is, you’re incapable of learning anything.

People on this board are always looking for the next Joe Burrow to walk thru the door. LSU could have a 5th yr Sr that's been outstanding... and they'll claim the incoming freshman will be the starter.

Let the HC do his job.

I don’t really care who starts as long as it gives us the best chance to win. But am I supposed to be impressed by this video? Do you not think Myles can make those throws?

I have a feeling they are going to rotate with each potential QB1 running 1st team for an entire practice, possibly multiples, until they eliminate guys and finally pick a starter.

At the end of spring it's going to be obvious by everyone that Jayden Daniels should be the starter. Heck, only a couple of days in and it's becoming obvious.

If I had to bet money right now, yes I would say Daniels.

But maybe Brennan will get a chance if he stays around. Maybe Daniels will struggle. Or god forbid get hurt. I hope Brennan stays, but I know he’ll want to go and I understand.

The offense in this video look light years ahead of what we had the past 2 years

Agree 100%. The SECW is brutal. Even if Daniels wins the starting position the potential for injury in the SECW is very high. We need Brennan to stick around but I do understand if he decides to transfer. I hope he doesn't.

Daniels looks great. Kiner is one of my favorite backs too, guy runs hard.

Can you explain what you have seen that makes this obvious? I feel like I'm missing something.

Well, Daniels has gotten the most reps and started out 11 on 11 with the first team.

Myles did the drills with the second team and did not even attempt a pass, even though he had the option.

Now, that doesn’t really mean that much, but we at least know that Daniels looked pretty sharp with the first team. Which is nice. Hope we get to see Brennan do the same.

Myles hasn’t played a down in almost two years. And does not appear to be physically ready yet. He may be by fall though. Hopefully.

I don’t know about obvious, but if I had to gamble on it, my money is on Daniels right now.

This is in no way to insult anyone. People need to relax with that. I am not on anyones side. I do not care who starts as long as it is the best player for the position.

If being a starting QB this season (not necessarily limited to doing so at LSU) is Brennan's top priority then, IMO, he has to know where he stands after spring practice. If the staff can't give him a strong assurance he will be the starter then he would likely want to transfer ASAP to give himself the best opportunity to start elsewhere. If he goes through the summer workouts and preseason practice, only to be named the backup, he won't have time to transfer elsewhere and start this season.

If spring comes and goes without him transferring shortly thereafter than we know:

A. The coaches have told him he is the likely starter in the fall, or

B. He values being at LSU more than being a potential starting QB elsewhere. Thus, he's willing to compete through the summer and fall without any guarantee he is going to be named the starter.

Where has this been reported?

I've seen that Myles has gotten snaps with the first team as well. I think all the QB's have at some point. Are you basing all of this off of the 2 three minute clips?

Again, what are you basing this off of?

I agree with this, it just seems like you are making a lot of assumptions based on like 10 total minutes of practice video.

Throwing motion. He as a nice quick delivery.

Accuracy. I know it's just practice and game time defenses can effect QB accuracy a lot but he is being accurate when he should be.

His ability to change direction in the pocket quickly and smoothly. If you were a DB coach you'd say he has good hips.

Legit run threat. I don't think I need to expound on this.

We have some NFL level top quality scouts on the rant. They took like 6 plays of non contact practice from the first day of spring practice and already declared Myles Brennan dead and Jayden Daniels the next Tom Brady.
