I married one; however, my wife doesn’t complain much about it. When she does it’s normally a bad arse kid that needs an arse whippin though, not money. I make substantially more than her though and she never has to worry about money.

I married one also (she's now out of the classroom and is an administrator).
She's the most level-headed woman I've ever known. Doesn't get all dramatic about silly stuff and doesn't generally engage in hyperbole.
