There’s not much that could happen to inflation than other countries going to a different currency for their purchases.
SA forces the US to buy oil in Yuan, US has to buy Yuan for the purchase. Where are they going to get it and what happens to the exchange rate?

We all know what's coming.
I don't see it. What I do see is that this country will collapse on itself while our ""leaders"" catch planes elsewhere, having successfully milked this country for all it's worth.
It won't happen tomorrow. They'll have enough time to slowly move their currency. And I believe they will. Things are just getting primed for the big trigger pull.
Much of the world hates the USA and many of our so called allies would like nothing more than to see the petrodollar dethroned and USA's influence on geopolitics decline.

Every country in the world prints fiat currency backed by nothing. It's not just the USA. We have held out longer by being the world currency and China is moving in hard and fast to collapse that as well.

We used to back our money with gold. That’s how we became the reserve currency. Like I said. We screwed ourselves.
