I have to agree with the gump. I have cans for pistols, AR/AKs and my carbines. I have started buying suppressed barrels instead of cans for my bolt guns. (actually only two barrels awaiting ATF)
I do not know of any reason not to have them.

Submitted the original form 1 apps on 25 Jan, got a reply looking for more I formation on 3 March and just got both my approvals today on 17 March.
This was e filing to build two suppressors from scratch. From the question I got on the initial reply, feel as if they were going to dent it if building from a solvent trap kit

With muzzle brakes, they can be very loud. But my two are easily manageable with ear protection.
My buddy runs them on every gun he has. Says its more for recoil than sound. I just am not ready to spend an extra grand for it as nothing I have is unmanageable. The Feds make owning anything cool a major hassle and by virtue, expensive.

After 14 plus months my Suppressor finally arrived. I ordered from Silencer Central in January 2021.

Purchased 3/1/22, certified form 4 today, 3/31/22. The wait begins.

I did the eform, bought the suppressor and paid for tax stamp on 1/14/22. Got my suppressor Monday 3/28. Took me 3 1/2 months to get it. The new system seems to speed it up. I’ve heard of people going back to resubmit the eform to speed it up.

I’ve been waiting since Sept 2021. For a .22. I just want to suppress a .22. I’m not asking for much.

That blows man! This was my first one and feel lucky I got it so soon. I always heard a year at least. I’ve also heard you could re-file with the new system and maybe you could get it sooner. Worth looking into.

My local store said they got one back in 77 days on efile.
