I haven't noticed whether anyone mentioned Jeff Wickersham, who was I believe the all-time leader in passing yards for a couple of years before Tommy Hodson broke all those records. I always remember going to a few games during the 1982 season, and every time Risher would look shaky, the crowd would start yelling for Wickersham.

Mike Miley - In my humble opinion the best athlete to ever don an LSU football and baseball uniform.

Wickersham threw a lot of INTs when he got his chance. He was the primary starter from 1983-85.

Well Rusty Jackson. He kicked the winning extra point in the 17-16 win vs Ole Miss with no time left after Brad “the Hammond Hammer” Davis scored from a pass from Bert Jones.

There were many shotgunned beers and horns blowing at the Burger Chef in Bogalusa that night. The 70’s were great. Lol.
