New Wave Taxidermy in Florida is the best in the replica business.

21” Speck or some type of freshwater trout? If speck, did you mean 31”?

The best around is New Wave in Florida and I don’t think it’s close. Go check out all there replicas of trout.

21” speck. Not the biggest at all, but a solid fish for la marsh. Also it was my first solo trip and on artificial. A feather in the cap for a novice like myself. Onward and upward

Don’t let them get to you. A trophy is in the eyes of the beholder

You can do your own gyotaku fish print.

What is gyotaku fish printing?

Gyotaku is a traditional form of Japanese art that began over 100 years ago as a way for fishermen to keep a record of the fish they caught.

They would apply sumi ink to one side of a freshly caught fish, then cover the fish with rice paper and rub to create an exact image of the fish.

Wasn’t trying to hate. Just have never heard of someone wanting to mount a sub 25” trout so thought for sure he fat fingered the numbers. More power to the OP, it’s his trophy and money.

GRAY or King Sailfish Mounts....both do great replicas if ordering online.

Check your local guy. I bet he does them as well. I know of a couple in SWLA that do them.

In addition to fiberglass replica mounts there are artists who can recreate the catch if you have a picture. Gyotaku is another neat way to memorialize the fish as well as others have mentioned.
