Give it about 8-10 rides before you decide if you need a different seat. I got used to it pretty quick, and it will soften up some over time.

I hope this is the case, the seat is killing me at the moment.

Anyone else do the strength classes? I've done a couple of intervals and arms rides, and a handful of the dumbbell or body weight classes.

I'm considering a set of quick adjustable dumbbells. I have an old, like from back in high school in the late 90s old, pair of Soloflex adjustables. Can load them up to 35 each if I'm using a pair, or up to 50 on one. It has 4 plates of 10, 5 and 2.5 for the pair of handles. The workout I just did was alternating between heavy and medium for different movements. Bent rows followed by reverse flies. I just don't have enough time to drop a plate off of each side and get the collar back on between the sets.

I could just grab a set of 20s and be done with it, and use those for the lighter weights and stack the adjustable ones up to 30-35 each depending on the movement. We also have a set of 1 lb, 3lb, and 8lb dumbbells, but those are pretty light for anything other than the intervals and arms stuff. Sort of thinking ahead to getting something the whole family can use easily. Like a set my wife can use anywhere from 5-15 lbs at the start, and up from there as she gains strength. I also get a little sticker shock at some of these adjustable sets. Anyone have a set that won't break the bank that can go up to 40-45 lbs per dumbbell?

Knocked out another ride at lunch today, a quick 20 minute with Olivia Amato. She was super "rah-rah" but other than that it was a good ride.
