Thinking about going to the Friday night and Saturday games. Anyone ever been to a game in Fayetteville, or have sat in the Hog Pen? I know it’ll be full of crazy Arkansas fans, but was wanting to know how it works to sit out there. Bring your own lawn chairs and first come first serve? Also are ice chests allowed out there as well?

Yes. No glass. First come first serve with a GA ticket.

Do you know how early I’d need to get into line in order to get a nice spot? Also is this where their students sit, or is it just anyone sits out there?

It's a mix of people in that pig pen. Huge party atmosphere. Very little game watching going on unless there is a big play. I'm there to watch baseball so I only stayed for a couple of innings then went back to my seat. It's fun but I wouldn't spend a whole game out there.

I prefer my seats down the first base line….more “good guys” sitting over that way.

I have been there twice. I would not sit out there.

My two kids first beer shower when they walked us off on the Saturday game. There were a lot of LSU fans out there as well. Lot of students, which gets things rowdy. If you’re easily offended, might be better places to watch the game from.

I’m a season ticket holder…I’ll give you my two cents.

I wouldn’t sit in the Hog Pen if I were a visiting fan. Just being honest. It’s a great place and area, but the alcohol is flowing and it’s a mix of students and die hards. Win or lose, I want your experience at Baum to be pleasant. Every fan base has a few of “those fans” and that would be the spot you’d have a high percentage of encountering one.

I’d advise trying to find tickets in the BP outfield chairbacks area or down the lines. Sitting in the BP area will give you a mix of Hog Pen and stadium experience and keep you out of the line of fire of drunk fans. Also, you’d need to be in line damn early, maybe even a day early for decent spots in Hog Pen.

Just my two cents.

Try to get to a big basketball game there, it's the real deal. Their stadiums are fantastic, the football stadium is the perfect 2022 stadium with the changing dynamics in fan attendance.

Been to many many baseball games here over past 30 years and stadium experience is first class. I always wear an LSU hat and have never had a bad experience. I consider Baum best of all college stadiums but the LSU baseball fan base is still better overall. We ( and I do mean We the LSU fanbase and team) deserve the best overall stadium. But I can't wait to watch the Tigers beat their arse in Baum. :-)
And I am lucky that I can watch basically every LSU game on tv.

Bunch of crybabies, boo the umpire every time a strike is called on one of their hitters. Low baseball IQ red necks.

Great venue for college baseball. For the Hog Pen getting there early may be difficult, but doable. There will be a line.

GA is bring chairs if you want to sit. Decent food throughout the stadium.

This is normally the hardest ticket of the year for Arkansas or LSU fans visiting Baum Walker.

I can agree for Bud Walton and Baum Walker.. but no to Reynolds Razorback Stadium. I’ve sat everywhere in that stadium from student tickets, to opposing teams section, box seats, club seats, north endzone club this last season. It’s a good stadium, but not a “perfect 2022 stadium.”

Went several years ago with my Son when it was almost new. As soon as we walked into the stadium, tornado warning was issued and alarms went off. They made everyone go into the track field house. Game was played. Great atmosphere. Great stadium. Great crowd. Nice experience

Yes go sit in the Hog Pen and if any of the fans give you shite, just say "Foul Ball" and they will lauuuuuughhhh! Boy they think that's funny! Try it! No seriously, great atmosphere, but I would NOT sit in the pen with an LSU cap on unless you have very thick skin and don't mind beer poured on you. Great ballpark to watch a game. We try to sit on the 1B line near the last few sections. I have always been treated nice there, even when we win. And BTW, wear ear plugs unless you love to listen to the Rick Flair WOOOOOOOO! ALL DAMN GAME. They take pride in getting the WOOOOOO call going back and forth all over the park. Right up there with the Vandy whistler on the annoying scale.

Also to note…latest expansion is complete and the visitors dugout is now on 3rd baseline, not 1st baseline. Part of the expansion was making an underground tunnel from new player facilities beyond right field, to new home dugout on first baseline.

Just fyi if you do go searching for tickets on secondary market. LSUs dugout will be 3rd baseline.
