Why is Bad Company not in? They are as deserving as more than half of the people already in there. Paul Rodgers should be in there just by himself. My guess is they haven’t and refuse to kiss arse.

It is no longer a pure “Rock” HOF for a long time now. Dolly Parton has a huge catalogue of country hits compared to Benatar pop hits.
Bottomine is the Rock HOF is a gimmick for a museum/concert to make money and nothing more

The ROR HOF is the pet project of the NYC music elitists. Jan Wenner of Rolling Stone types. They think & know their musical tastes are better than everyone else in the flyover states so it takes a long time if ever for bands like Rush & KISS who are hugely popular with rabid fanbases but lacked respect from the elite music critics to get in. The voters have a huge bias against hard rock & metal acts. Every one of the acts on the list deserve to get in but Priest is long overdue. The facts that Priest, Maiden, & Motörhead are not already in is ridiculous.

Not just her songs, her voice, or her album sales, but Pat Benatar was a pioneer as a female lead singer for a harder edged rock band who actually hit it big.

You do realize that Pat is once again nominated this year?
No guarantees for either but Pat does lead the fan vote right now. She should have been in years ago, but this is an odd way to phrase it.
But yes, overall the RnR HoF is a joke.
