F150 was at least passing vehicles while in the left lane, albeit, not as fast as the Corolla wanted to go.

We always have this thread and people always blame the guy trotting in the left lane, but it's usually this situation more often than not.

The truck was passing cars, he has zero obligation to do it faster because the car behind him wanted to go faster.

Initially, there was nothing wrong at all with the truck in the left lane.

People cruising in the left lane is annoying, it happens. I think shitheads like the Corolla driver who are impatient and think everyone has to immediately move out of their way in the left lane happens more often or if not more often, are certainly way more dangerous on the road.

Ehhh, he may not be driving for several days...I would imagine (and fervently hope) that he is sore as hell.

You make a valid point, however.

Yeah, but he could have put a little more effort into it since it's like a 400 HP truck.

He's passing cars, he has no obligation to go 15-20 over the speed limit to go a little faster because the car behind him is an impatient arse hole.

Truck driver is an a-hole but I hope the driver in the car is dead and hasn't procreated. So tired of shitty drivers.

I would not try to pass on the shoulder of I-12 here in Louisiana. Pieces of 4x4s , flat tires, bumpers, bags of trash, all litter the shoulders. Hit anyone of those things and your day is done.

He sped up at the last second to be a complete a-hole…can’t believe that’s lost on y’all. Attempted murder.

And if he would have waited probably less than another minute, he could have either gone around or the ford might have pulled over to the right for him to pass.... dumb arse

After seeing his actions, it appears he was trying to control access to the left hand lane. He was barely passing vehicles
So passing vehicles in the left lane is now trying to control access to the left lane?

You can be doing 85 and passing people and it’s not fast enough for the a-hole riding your bumper.

I literally had that happen last week. Got into the left lane because the right lane was about to close. Some jackass in a black pickup with no license plate was mad no matter how fast I went.

The driver of that truck should go to jail. That’s attempted murder.
This thread does a good job showing how many bad drivers are out on the roads these days.

That truck wasn't passing cars, he was a rolling roadblock. He didn't speed up until the accord was in position to pass him. That guy is a douche.

Not advocating passing on the shoulder at highway speeds but that doesn't make the truck driver not a douche.

Don't see anyone defending the Honda driver.

The drivers of both the white truck and the Honda driver should have their licenses suspended IMO.
I'd be ok if we started revoking people's licenses forever for situations like this.

I’m not sure you know what 100% is

The Ford should have GTFO the left lane and definitely sped up after blocking the left lane and helped cause this crash

I agree with this, but at the same time once he passed the first SUV in the video, the truck driver had plenty of time to get behind the 2nd SUV (Jeep?) to let the Accord pass. Then again, he was probably worried about the line of cars behind him not letting him get back in the left lane as he was barely catching up to the Jeep

So the truck driver wasnt seen brake checking, and speeding up to keep cars from entering the left hand lane?

Maybe you should watch the video a few more times
