i didnt read this article because this stuff isnt new news.

but one of the complaints from before was about termites. But the guy never retreated the home for termites, then blamed other people for having termites.

Why did this guy think his situation was any different?

They also used a lot of exposed non-treated wood. We have high humidity but I'd think that's a bad idea no matter where you build.
