A lot of racist, safeguards here. A song is not a free pass to use a racist term. Is that a double standard? Yes, but it's a rule. You can do things to your own that others can't. It's never ok for a race to repeat a word that is racist. Nothing to do with woke. That's just your excuse.

Want to fix this problem? White people should just stop supporting this type of music.

If you can't sing it without offending, then why listen to it?

Is a song a free pass for a male to repeat misogynistic lyrics?

Does the song include the term "shorty"?

What is the demographic of the male singing the song?

Oh, and why are we using terms like male and female, that's oppressive.

I think blacks secretly like white music.

Funny you say that given the preponderance of currently popular genres of music that can trace their origins to “blacks.”

Like rock, country, EDM, or metal.

This reminds me a bit of my cousin who was a talented basketball player that committed to Delaware a couple of years ago. During all the BLM protests the team decided to kneel during the National Anthem. She said she would not do this so the coach told the team if everybody didn’t kneel then no one can kneel. She was constantly harassed with similar threats afterward. She played out her season and after the last game she and her parents packed up her apartment and moved back home. It ruined sports for her.

You can't walk down a street in our medium size town that that word is blaring out of a car window. It makes no difference what skin color or who is driving the vehicle. That word sucks and should not be allowed in any music form.

But do a little more digging on how this conversation has been evolving over the last few years.

If you don't tell these imbeciles to frick off at every turn, they will keep believing this woke garbage is popular and right.

People need to learn that just something offends them does not make it a rule for everyone else.

A word can't be racist...thats not how it works. There is an active movement to change the definition of racism to fit an agenda because of the desire to label more things and more people racist that simply aren't.

See, if I walk into a store in central new orleans where a black man stands behind the counter and I say "Hey boy, how much is that bottle of water?" it's not the same as if I ask my cousin "Hey boy, can you go get me another beer".

People have become too comfortable labeling other people and things as racist that they can't even find real racism when it slaps them in the face.

No! No! No! Why segregate it to just white people? That’s part of the issue. ALL PEOPLE, REGARDLESS OF RACE, should stop supporting that trash. Watch how quickly it dies

Gymnastics is the ultimate privilege sport. Please spare me with how black gymnasts who’s parents shell out minimally tens of thousands of dollars for training are oppressed.

I grew up in Vermilion Parish. Most of the residents were Cajun. They could call each other Coon arse. But if someone who was not Cajun directed that term to a Cajun then there was a significant chance of a severe disagreement that could lead to a fight.

Yes, now a new brand of mentally challenged idiots at LSU can harass her until she harms herself. Or did you forget that LSU is a marxist run school now?

There's so much wrong with this, it's staggering. You do realize that by definition, harassing a person for doing something based solely on the fact that they are of a certain racial background is by definition racist?

The remaining UCLA gymnasts are now trying to run off the coach. Toxic group that is destroying the program.

The “n” word is inappropriate in all circles. Even used by blacks, rappers and others. The word alone is extremely divisive and has no redeeming value in today’s society. There is no way in hell I would remove this problem from UCLA and bring it to LSU. Not a smart move in my opinion.

The gymnastics thread on the recruiting board has been talking about this for weeks. There is apparently a very rabid group of gymnastics Karens who are all up in the national gymnastics environment. They all claim to be insiders who know all the scoop of each team and make some creepy comments about the athletes that border on stalking. Anyway...these Karens seem to hate LSU and were all over the program for the "lax" enforcement of COVID protocols. So, now LSU is racist for taking this racist bigot on to the team.
