Will Zion ever suit up for the Pelicans again?

(a simple yes or no will do)

Also known as the topic that gets brought up by someone in %50 of the threads.

%0 this year. Trying to be optimistic and think that money and the possibility he is a decent human and wont screw the franchise over will make him play next year. So yes.

The only way he doesn't is if he (1) creates the narrative the Pelicans medical staff messed him up and (2) the public buys that narrative and gives him no fault. From what we've seen from so far (social media, turner guys, etc) it doesn't look like Zion himself will get out all of this easily. Considering THAT, Zion seems to care enough about being liked that he won't take a villain narrative at this stage of his career when he's still unproven. Zion is no Thanos.

That's not the question.

Zion is eligible for a $181M 5 year max extension this summer. He's not playing this year.

Embiid didn't play his 1st two years, then played 31 games in year 3. He signed his max extension after only playing 31 games, although it was full of injury clauses, that he's never hit so he received the full contract.

Are you going to give Zion a max extension? Most likely yes. Are you going to lace it with injury clauses? you damn well better.

Absolutely. We aren't trading him this year. The narrative surroundign Zion has become absurd.

No, he is going to play for the Knicks and they won’t even need to trade us RJ or Cam to accomplish it.

I will address it! Who the f!@k knows for sure? No one!

When will he play again? When he does!

The team needs to keep improving. Hope that Griffin doesn't do too much dumb stuff. Don't trade assets to just get in the play in tournament this year. Build for next year and following years.

Yes.

At the very least he will be here to start next year.

I don't think the pels would trade him on their own.

It's been a topic that has been addressed and answered for the past couple of months on this board.

Yes, I'll gladly take bets on that if someone wants to take no.

I hope he does.
If I had to put money on the line I say NO.

Firing Griffin sooner rather than later is probably the only chance to salvage the situation.

And even if the situation isn’t salvaged ; we want someone else other than griffin working on a trade if it comes to that.

Geez how about just being on the bench and supporting the team?
