I’m from Nola and will be in town for buisiness in early Feb for a night and I would like to entertain some clients. I want a locals take on the best restaurant. Doesn’t matter what type of cuisine. Best overall place.

Was up there last month and Cocha and Chow Yum Phat were two recommendations that were really good.

Tried Elsie's too, but that was just alright.

On the nicer side, I would do either Cocha or Beausoleil. On the more casual side, that list starts to get so big and eclectic that I would probably want a bit more guidance on the kind of food. And yes, I know you said any, but still

Latil’s Landing at the Houmas House is the most impressive dinner spot in the BR area (not actually in BR). All meals are served in private rooms and it’s a set menu. I thought it was better than the chef’s table at August.
