Clean slab ready to go. Glue down. Roughly 2600 sf. One living room/lobby and then hallways and three sleeping rooms. Got a guy offering $2.60 /sf and want to know if I should bother shopping around for a cheaper price. Seen his work and he does a great job.

Ask your boyfriend to do it for free?

Glue down or float and click?

I had a clean slab, ready to go. My firmfit XXL LVT flooring was $3.50 a sq ft and install was 1.25/sq ft if they didn't have to move furniture, which they didn't have to. This was June 2021.

I'm looking to do this as well. Which is cheaper labor wise? Glue down or float and click?

Dang, I like that price.
I would think glue down is cheaper, it seems like a easy process unless glue is just that much.

hell no, glue down will be more expensive.
I've installed a lot of flooring, with glue down LVP you are doing the same click lock but you also have to go through the trouble of adding glue which adds much more time. with floating all you do is click lock.

No
The glue is expensive plus you'd have to pay for the labor to spread it. Float and click is much easier and cheaper
