Yeah. I'm not saying they will suck, but the dominant run Bama has had will be ending now.
They'll be obviously strong as long as Saban hangs in there, but he'll be tapering down soon enough and players know that.

Their CBs are terrible. That JUCO guy Jackson wouldn’t start on most teams in the conference. And the freshman Koolaid blows a lot of plays. Ricks is easily a starter for them next year.

Saban gets props for being the GOAT, even though I detest that angry little munchkin. However, Bama's dominance has three factors: Saban, buying the best players, and interia.
With NIL (fricked up as it may be), Bama's secret sauce is now for sale to everyone right next to Slap Ya Momma and Tony C's. That was the wind in Bama's sails as they built their empire.
Now that everyone can pay players - legally - Bama no longer has that advantage. They still have Saban, and they still have the "but but but I can get a NC ring at Bama" mystique...
But without their ability to poach players in a way that other teams wouldn't dream of doing so brazenly, Saban and inertia will only carry the Gumps so far before the other teams start catching up.
And when Father Time finally comes to take Saban back to OompahLoompahLand, it's not a given that the Gumps could replace him with anyone close.
