The entire power structure of Baton Rouge is run by black people, including LSU. Blacks are a majority in Baton Rouge. If you’re still blaming white people, then I’m not sure I can help you.

No one can argue against this.

So MSU and PSU should be worried about salary inequalities also? This obviously is an issue at “every” university, whether the head coach is black or white.

what does Collis Temple have to do with football

It's just the vehicle he uses to display his racist rants.

Ok - I’ll start a conversation with you. Blacks historically have never been the most oppressed minority in America. They’re just the largest demographic.

Temple was a decent basketball player at LSU, but that's about it. There have been many better players for LSU who aren't remembered at all.

His distinction as the first black player for the Tigers is his only accomplishment. Every bit of success he has had is a direct result of that. LSU made him and provided a platform for him; a platform he has used to attack the very institution that gave him everything. Tells you all you need to know about him.

The hiring of Johnny Jones and specifically the woman's black basketball coach is a good example of my a black head football coach was not hired. There ain't none at this time.

Following is just part of 1 sentence that'll tell you all you need to know about the motivation behind this POS Article, Author & Newspaper:
quote:

he moved back into her house, on a street named for a Confederate general.

OMG somebody call BLM & Ryan Clark, STAT!

There’s still lots of work to do at LSU & in BR if this is allowed to stand!!!!

This is what the race hustlers can’t seem to understand. There wasn’t a black candidate qualified for the position. If there was a black coach with the credentials of Brian Kelly, he would be our coach and welcomed with open arms.

This is a very strange article.
I think this is more likely Verge's FIL, Mr. Williams flexing his muscle through Temple.
Mr. Temple would not be on the BOS if it weren't for a conflict of interest with JB. I think there was an issue with Kelly and his contract and apparently some BOS members aren't happy about it and are working on the "optics" to get something or someone they want.
Cleary, the story's protagonist is a political operative looking for a State position or a cush job somewhere at LSU or the State. So he probaly didn't have an issue shitting on the School that is giving him free tuition and a made up job in a bullshite department.

Who is more likely to have a contact at the Washington Post, CT or a civil rights atty from Nola who has made his money by suing the State. This is just a very strange article out of nowhere.
I wouldn't be suprised if SW had to pull in some favors to get "his guy" and it pissed some BOS members off. SW is a political operative as well, he always has been. CT was as people on here have said a slum lord making money on Gov't minority set asides and community grants. He made some real money after Katrina with leases to him for the Road Home program.
Mr.Temple is the poster child for suceeding through Government preferences. It is quite amazing he would attack LSU when it is LSU that set him on the path his is on today.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, you mean a hit piece was put out against LSU and they found a vocal minority to give a comment that supported the agenda they wanted to push in the first place?

I don’t believe it.

If the Judge in Lafayette were black under the same circumstances, do you think she would still be a judge?

Yawn. That article was so dumb and contrived that I couldn't even finish it. White liberals at the Washington Post need to get a life.
