Sooner Scoop is reporting Caleb possibly entering his name into the transfer portal. He wants to be “re-recruited” by everyone. Including OU. College football is in a crazy time.

Why?
You are the clear cut starter at OU
Anywhere you go you will have to compete again.
Your only competition in Rattler left and the top recruit ended up going to USC instead.
Makes no sense.
Kids these days.

There's been rumors of a bidding war for a while. I expect him to end up in the SEC

Next year the transfer rule changes again to where you have to sit out, right?

frick that. Does he realize the high risk he represents now?

This makes me hope he fails at his next stop.

He's going to entre the portal so that he can talk to other teams more freely.
But I'd guess he sticks around.
There's a message board rumor saying that Ga is offering $2 mil NIL deal

Lebby will have this kid playing great football. Not a great move IMO.

It’s interesting because he isn’t good. He’s not accurate and throws a dreadfully bad deep ball. Maybe he won’t get brought back by OU and no one else will want him

Im just glad LSU dominated the last fun season of college football. Before it got ruined by covid, opt outs, NIL, BLM, and the new transfer rules. We'll always have 2019.

Most coaches have multi-year buyouts if they leave before end of contract.

Maybe a transfer needs to have a cost involved.

One cost to enter the portal

Another cost if you leave

Hearing from multiple sources Georgia is the top landing spot unless they get outbid. Will be ripple effect at Georgia like Ohio St if it happens.

OU will get a dude, great opportunity to shine under Jeff Lebby.

Ole miss same under Kiffin.
