One thing I really don't get is Team USA leaving Rajeev Rampras off the squad. Ram/Sock would have been heavily favored against most doubles teams.

Was wondering about that too. I guess Sock will play with Fritz. Wonder if they prefer to have more singles guys in case of injury or for certain matchups. It still doesn't make sense though because they can have a 5th guy on the squad.

Not choosing 5 guys us absolutely ludicrous especially considering how good Ram is at doubles. And Sock is fat and gross now and not as good at doubles as he used to be so it makes zero sense honestly

Just talked to my buddy. The US Davis cop decision is more ludicrous when you hear the reason. The players wanted only 4 so they could split the money less ways and fish just let the players dictate that

Guess that’s the kinda crap that happens when you award too much for the QF and too little for the semis and runner up. Still sad either way. What’s a couple hundred K to these guys?

Good for Rampras.
I had the Sonego/Shapo match on with the volume at like 2. So, I couldn't hear well, but I thought Annacone mumbled something about "wax on, wax off." I thought, no way did he say that. Rewind and it sure enough, he did. Then, they show this graphic a few seconds later.
