He says this as Omicron transmits freely through the vaccinated population.
Covid vaccination prevents serious illness for the most part, which is why elderly people and those with health problems should get vaccinated to protect themselves.
As someone who doesn't fall under either of those categories, I'm not worried in the slightest. The argument of "the unvaccinated need to get the vaccine to protect the vaccinated" makes absolutely no sense. But the media and govt keeps pushing it, and some people aren't capable of rational thought.
OP, take a look at the hospitalization rate for unvaccinated people under 65 without a health condition. Report back and tell me why I should get vaccinated.

As he probably should, and it's up to him to do so. But no reason for healthy relatively young people to do the same.
I'm not vaccinated, got covid Friday, got sick Saturday, felt pretty much fine Sunday. Only thing that would be different if I were vaccinated is I might not have realized I had covid and would be passing it on to my family right now.

I guess you are implying to get the vaccine, or stay away from people for my own good since the vaccine has no effect on a person’s risk of infection, or how much virus you shed if you do become infected.
