can actually smoke cigs, drink, do drugs recreationally without ever feeling addicted.

Food is my weakness. I have to really exercise self control to not eat too much and get fat. I love food, especially shite that’s bad for me
same

I used to laugh and say I have never left my house to get a cigarette or alcohol buy I have totally left my house to get a diet coke

There was a post on /r/Birmingham not too long ago where someone posted a pic of a girl watching Tik Tok videos while driving down HWY 280.

I had an ex that did this shite, except with youtube. She would turn on a video and put her phone on it's side in the instrument cluster, blocking her speedometer.

She'd drive while watching endless youtube videos right there behind her steering wheel, with myself and a kid in the car and everything. Didn't matter who was riding with her or how far she was going, she'd do that shite on a 5 minute trip and I couldn't ever convince her to stop.

That girl was truly addicted to her phone, I've never seen anyone so bad. Surprised she hasn't killed herself or anyone else yet.

TD. Just got a new job similar industry. Been out of work for almost 9 months. I suspect I'll be addicted to economic news, interest rates, volatility, and equity options pricing.

I'm probably gonna dabble a little in algorithmic crypto trading so that may be an addiction for a bit.

I'm tabbing out on alcohol for a while after new years. There are a couple of outlets I have though. Fishing, smoking meats, and I think I may try and take bread making seriously. My GF's goal is to start her own catering company. I'd love to contribute by curing meats and also baking breads. I can make a mean pizza from scratch and my elder family slaughtered hogs and cattle and cured meats. Be cool to bring that back in the 21st century.

I picked up fermenting hot sauces this past year so that is another area I plan to explore more. My favorite that I've made so far was roasted poblanos, pineapple, and an exceptionallybspicy cayenne I grew. Aged for 6 weeks. Added a small dash of cumin during the blending process and a little xanthum gum to suspend everything. Super awesome for all things Mexican.

Sugar, the vast majority of people are highly addicted without even noticing. I never really thought about it and I’ve quit sodas, fried foods, fast food etc for years at a time but trying to cut sugar out of your diet is extremely tough.

Being active and fishing are mine. If I have to sit inside on let's say a rainy day and don't workout or get some sun I get super depressed. That's why I don't get how people can live up north and be home bodies all winter.

I've cut sugar before and been full blown keto, but honestly the whole idea is a little flawed. I have epilepsy so part of the reason was just to do it for my health. What I've learned is Moderation is vital and hydration is even more important. If you want or need to imbibe on the reg alcohol is evil. Herbs are from the earth and good and peaceful.

Success, beautiful women, knowledge, self-improvement. I'm not suggesting I obtain those things all of the time, but I am zealous about pursuing them.

Yes, crypto investments especially when they surge and you have profits in the thousands. (Jewel did that tonight.)

Is it possible to be addicted to nothing? As in doing nothing?
Blah, meh, whatever really don’t feel like doing much.

Picked up reading again several years ago. I was always a voracious reader. It's helped me focus and is peaceful. Feel refreshed after some time out from all the electronics and screen stimulation at work since our new super awesome SAP system has tied me to my fricking desk.

I purposely went into maintenance and dropped engineering to move and troubleshoot around our facility. Now tied to a desk with this retarded shite.
