Evil Eye is Voodoo and Creole Tomato mixed, you should try it.

Oh, I thought Burrow was part of LSU. ?? #dumbass

Sure. The point is that saying some other kid didn’t do what Burrow did brings with it the fact that Burrow had resources the other kid didn’t. After all, Mahomes didn’t do what Burrow did either, but I would have liked our chances had we had Mahomes instead of Burrow on that team.

I don’t think people realize Burrow rarely played the 4th quarter and in some games he only played the first half. If the coach would have left him in the entire game and let him continue to play his record would never be broken.

He threw 39 times in a 35 point blowout. The stats were padded. If you cannot see that you are not capable of being objective.

Best player in LSU history. No question. One of the college QBs best ever? Without a doubt. Was he the beneficiary of several garbage time TDs? Without question to anyone other than fanboys.

This thread is hilarious. Predictably it just turned into a bunch of LSU fans shitting on this dude for no reason.

Then y’all proceeded, on an LSU message board, to all explain to each other why it’s not as impressive as what Burrow did and this doesn’t mean he’s as good as Joe. Bunch of fricking lunatics on this board.

OP just made a statement that the record might be broken, and it turned into this. Pathetic.

You do realize Mahomes’ college record was 13-19, including a blowout loss to LSU? Burrow had resources, but still had to defeat 7 of the final top 10 teams in the country. No comparison from “the kid” to Joe Burrow.

Burrow's Touchdown Record in Jeopardy
Who cares. WKY. Joe did it against 7 top 10 opponents.

You must have not watched much football in 2019. Few games of Burrow’s were “padded stats”. He needed reps in the first game to prepare for Texas in week 2.

Why did he throw 30+ times against Utah State and 30+ times against A&M in a 50-7 blowout? BURROW’S BACKUP THREW FOR ONE TOUCHDOWN ALL YEAR. That is a direct result of Burrow being left in games to soak up stats. Fields and Tua were on pace for better years, but OSU and Bama did not try to pad their stats.

Burrow was great with three future first rounders and a second rounder catching passes. He was a third string backup without that. I love him and everything he did for LSU. Some of you have a weird man rush and hate anyone that points out facts that don’t elevate him to superhero stays for the fanboys.

Haha. Dude, it was a PLAYOFF game. OU had the Heisman Runner-up at QB and the #2 total offense averaging 545 yards per game & 43 points going in. Clearly, they were capable of putting up a lot of points.

LSU/Burrow didn't even have a reason to pad his stats since he had already won the Heisman by the most votes in history. They had a reason to put up a lot of points so there was no doubt they would win and get to the title game. 7 of his 8 TDs came in the 1st half and he scored one last rushing TD in the 1st drive of the 3rd quarter, but about half the plays on that drive were runs by Chris Curry since CEH barely played due to injury. If they were "padding his stats", they could have left Burrow in to keep throwing TDs instead of putting Brennan in for almost the entire 4th quarter.

Go rewatch the 2019 football season. It’s not my fault if you don’t understand the game. Padding stats was never attempted. If it was, Burrow would have thrown 12 touchdowns against Oklahoma
