Ricks is a great playmaker as far as interceptions go, but he was weak tackling and just had 1 pick this year in the 6 games he played (and that was against UCLA in game 1). He was a disappointment.
He was on a historically bad D last year when guys were constantly running free with the ball in the 2nd level of the D and he only had 20 tackles on the whole season. And not even 1 tackle for a loss.
